In the third quarter, Zeekr delivered a record 36,395 vehicles, up 77.85 percent year-on-year and up 32.83 percent from the second quarter.
Zeekr, Geely‘s premium electric vehicle (EV) brand, delivered 12,053 vehicles in September, up 45.64 percent year-on-year but down 2.03 percent from August, according to data released by the company today.
Zeekr did not provide more information, but said it received a record number of firm orders in September.
In the third quarter, Zeekr delivered a record 36,395 vehicles, up 77.85 percent year-on-year and up 32.83 percent from the second quarter.
From January to September, Zeekr’s cumulative deliveries totaled 79,028 vehicles, an increase of 100.20 percent over the 39,474 vehicles delivered in the same period last year.
Zeekr is targeting to double its deliveries to about 140,000 units this year compared to last year, which means it will need to deliver an average of about 20,300 vehicles per month in the fourth quarter.
At the end of September, Zeekr’s cumulative deliveries since its inception stood at 156,976 vehicles, data monitored by CnEVPost showed.
Zeekr was officially launched as a standalone company in March 2021, and its first model, the Zeekr 001, was released on April 15, 2021, with deliveries beginning in October 2021.
Zeekr’s second model, the Zeekr 009 MPV, was launched on November 1 last year and its deliveries began on January 15.
On April 12, Zeekr launched its third model, the Zeekr X, whose deliveries in China began on June 12.
Zeekr is entering overseas markets, announcing on August 25 that the first Zeekr 001s set sail from China to Europe, and on September 17 that the first Zeekr X SUVs were shipped to Europe.
Deliveries of both models in Europe will begin in the fourth quarter, according to Zeekr’s previous announcement.
Zeekr forms partnerships to sell EVs in 4 additional Middle Eastern countries
