Over the past four years, WOLFBOX has become a trusted brand in the automotive electronics market, serving over 2 million customers. So far, the company has specialized in dash cams and car fridges, but these things only enhance the driving experience instead of powering it. Now, with the launch of the WOLFBOX Level 2 Electric Vehicle Charger, the company is expanding its product line to offer solutions for electric vehicle owners worldwide and climb from the car, out into customers’ garages and driveways.
“We are thrilled to celebrate our 4-year anniversary and the launch of our new product EV Charger. But most of all, we’re proud of the impact that our products and our community have had on our customers’ lives,” said Jonathan Smith, CEO of WOLFBOX. “It’s been an incredible journey so far, and we’re excited to continue growing and innovating in the years to come.”
WOLFBOX dash cams have received positive reviews from millions of customers worldwide, thanks to their advanced features such as 4K clarity, wide-angle lenses, GPS, parking mode, and night vision. Mirror dash cams like the G900 and G890 have gained significant popularity among off-road enthusiasts, too. Their exceptional functionalities and cutting-edge design have fostered a vibrant off-roading community, leading to increased brand awareness and even more reviews that help the company sell even more products.
With all of this awareness, WOLFBOX says the company has earned more than 20 million brand impressions through word-of-mouth recommendations and social media sharing. Additionally, WOLFBOX has actively supported non-profit organizations dedicated to off-roading and recovery, promoting safe and responsible off-roading practices while making a positive impact on local communities.
Between all of this, the company hopes that the good will it has earned thus far will help them enter the EV charging market with a good reputation and maybe even some loyal customers. Let’s take a look at what the company is selling.
The New Level 2 EV Charging Station
According to the company, the WOLFBOX EV Charger is a smart, versatile charging solution that offers comprehensive management of the charging state and process. The charger provides a range of charging options, such as scheduled charging and remote monitoring of the charging status. Additionally, RFID cards can be used to control access to it. This makes it a good option for both home and business charging. If nothing else, it can keep people from stealing electricity, right?
The station can be hardwired or plugged in with a NEMA 14-50 plug (like you’d find at an RV park). It has a 25-foot cord, so you don’t have to necessarily park close to it to charge up. It can provide up to 40 amps of power (9.6 kW), so it’s not the fastest, but it’s not the slowest, either. It’s designed to be permanently mounted, and not carried around in your vehicle, but if you get the plug-in version, you could probably get away with using it like that in a pinch.
To celebrate this new product, WOLFBOX will be running Instagram giveaways from October 30th until November 18th. To get a chance to win, the company says to “share your adventure moments with or without WOLFBOX” and use the #WOLFBOX4ward hashtag. The company will be giving away both products and gift cards.
