Nio (NYSE: NIO) is continuing to add more showrooms and its signature battery swap stations.
The Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker added three new Nio Houses — its flagship showrooms — in September, according to data released by the company today. All of these additions were located in China.
As of September 30, Nio had 137 Nio Houses worldwide, including 131 in China and six in Europe.
The company opened 23 new Nio Spaces — its smaller showrooms — in September, including 22 in China and one in Europe.
Nio now has 304 Nio Spaces worldwide, including 295 in China and nine in Europe.
The company also added five service centers as well as three delivery centers in September. As of September 30, it had 303 service centers globally, including 255 in China and 48 overseas.
Notably, the number of Nio’s service centers overseas dropped by one from 49 at the end of August. On August 31, Nio released data showing it had 301 service centers globally at that time, of which 252 were in China and 49 overseas.
Nio added 155 battery swap stations globally in September, all in China, the highest in a single month.
At the end of September, Nio had 1,955 battery swap stations globally, of which 1,929 were in China and 26 were overseas. The company had 572 of these facilities located along highways in China.
Nio also added 153 new charging stations in September, bringing the number to 3,227, of which 3,217 are in China and 10 are overseas.
Nio’s charging map accessed 32,089 new third-party charging piles in September, bringing the total to more than 1.39 million, including more than 500,000 overseas.
Nio added five energy replenishment facilities today, including two battery swap stations, one supercharging station, and two destination charging stations.
The EV maker is expected to announce September vehicle delivery figures later today.
