To date, the C10 has more than 23,500 pre-orders since pre-sales began on January 10, Leapmotor said.
Leapmotor’s deliveries in January were down from the previous month, affected by seasonal factors like its major peers.
The new energy vehicle (NEV) maker delivered 12,277 vehicles in January, up 977.88 percent year-on-year but down 34.06 percent from December, according to data it released today.
At the end of January, Leapmotor had delivered 318,101 vehicles since its inception, data monitored by CnEVPost showed.
Founded in 2015, Leapmotor’s models on sale include the mini EV T03, coupe model S01, flagship SUV model C11, and flagship sedan C01.
The company initially offered only battery electric vehicle (BEV) models, but in 2022 unveiled plans to build extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) models to target the larger market for plug-in hybrids.
On March 1, 2023, Leapmotor launched the C11 EREV, and on September 20, the company rolled out the C01 EREV.
Leapmotor began pre-sales of the C10 in China on January 10, offering EREV versions and BEV versions.
The pre-sale price range for the C10 EREV is from RMB 151,800 ($21,130) to RMB 181,800, while the pre-sale price range for the C10 BEV is from RMB 155,800 to RMB 185,800.
That’s roughly half the price of Li Auto‘s (NASDAQ: LI) five-seat SUV, the Li L7, which is only available as an EREV and is currently priced from RMB 319,800, RMB 339,800, and RMB 379,800 for the three options.
To date, there are over 23,500 pre-orders for the C10, Leapmotor said today.
Leapmotor today launched its latest offers, offering comprehensive discounts of up to RMB 40,680 for the C01, up to RMB 28,680 for the C11 and up to RMB 17,630 for the T03.
